Directions to Gay Stay Ruakaka: From Auckland.
We are located just north of Uretiti Beach Camp Site on State Highway One. Take the next Major turn on the right sign-posted 'Ruakaka Beach'. If you end up at a large round-a-bout, you have gone to far.
Take the first right, 'Ruakaka Beach Road'. Follow this road down to a small one-way bridge, You must give way. Continue on this road past the Ruakaka Beach Camping ground on the left and an open park area on the right. Follow the road round as it turns left. Go straight through the round-a-bout with the tall palm tree in the centre. Take the next street on the right 'Bream Bay Drive'. This is the last street before the beach car park.
Follow the the road going through a small round-a-bout, keeping to the left as you go through. Continue on this road to the end where you come to a dead end round-a-bout. The drive to La Belle Maison is at the far side of the round-a-bout. Drive up through the entrance which has pillars on either side and is sign posted "La Belle Maison". You're here. We are the first Villa as you come through the side gate by the pool.
Note:
There is a toll charge for the tunnel on state Highway One just north of Orewa. $2.00 each way.
You can pay for this on line or, stop at The BP Service Station on the motor way before Orewa Or, dial 0800402020 or, turn off the motor way at Orewa and take the old road through the town and around the tunnel.
